Two of the nicest hard working young men moved my possessions with care in a timely manner. December 31st isn’t the best day of the year to make a move into a 6th floor condo but these two made it easy.When Jacob gave me the statement at the end of the move it was the same amount as the estimate. As a senior single women who has moved many times I can recommend Ouch My Back!

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE:After seeing my update, Niall got in touch quite quickly and was apologetic and offered to make reparations. He took responsibility and was very kind. So, yup. Mistakes happen, employees don’t always provide the service expected of them. I’m duly impressed with the response to the situation.Thanks and I will try them again with my next move.UPDATE:I did in fact call Ouch My Back the next time I moved, June 2024. It was simply not the same experience. Communication was terrible, I had to chase them down for everything including a quote.And the movers, while they got the job done, entirely didn’t listen to me about the couch not fitting in the elevator DESPITE MY TELLING THEM NUMEROUS TIMES, BASED ON THEIR COMPANY MOVING ME IN!Won’t ever use them again. In fact, I haven’t, as I’m moving again this week.I can’t recommend Ouch My Back highly enough!First off they rescued me a week out when another company messed up and didn’t book me. Then the day of the move started with a blizzard and they were good enough to call 5 hours ahead to say they might be late.Once everyone was there, they were quick and super courteous. Unloading ran into some issues with elevator vs couch, so they took it up the stairs! And they tried everything in their absolute power to get my IKEA wardrobe in the building including different stairs, etc. in the end it didn’t make it (RIP wardrobe!) but they were so apologetic about it, even though I’d said I was ok if it didn’t come.And finally, billing. They could have charged me for all the ridiculousness of getting stuff in and the extra guy showing up. But they didn’t. They stuck to the quoted price and were very kind and apologetic for the delays.If you need to move, call these guys. I’ll definitely use their services next time I move.

Great to work with. Had a couple hiccups with their schedule but they were able to work with us and it turned out for the better.The quote was a little low, but I consider that my fault as I don't think I had properly explained the scale of our storage and exactly how much stuff was actually needed to be moved. My advice would be to give them as much info as you possibly can so they can properly quote because I felt the value was there even despite me paying more than originally expected.

Jacob, Efe, Eric were awesome! Moved everything as expected, finished the job an hour earlier than estimated. However, the office still charged almost the same as the estimated saying they forgot to add 1 hour of travel time on top of moving time. I moved from Fernwood to Esquimalt and OMB seems to be on Johnson so… 1 hour travel time for before starting the work and after the job was done? That seems a bit too generously calculated… so I was not too happy, feel like they should have called me (rather than just sending an email saying there was miscalculation) to explain before charging the extra hour. BUT!!! still leaving 5 stars only because of excellent crews who worked hard and stayed positive for the entire move. Thanks guys,

Had an overall great experience with the guys from OMB Moving. They were nice and worked hard, generally great guys to have moving all my stuff. It ended up taking a lot longer than they quoted/I expected, so it cost a lot more, but aside from that I was really happy with their work and customer service.

We worked with OMBM yesterday on our move, and are incredibly thrilled with the entire experience. Casey and Stanley arrived on time, worked non-stop for hours, they were friendly and professional, and they both took great care to not damage our items or our home. They had lots of supplies and were well organized. They were especially tactful when navigating our old and narrow apartment building. If we move again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with OMBM again. We had a difficult move scheduled but OMBM was up for it. They sent two movers ahead, to get the packing started, before the moving van was to arrive that afternoon. Unfortunately, the move wasn't possible and we had to cancel the move last minute. They were so accommodating and understanding of how difficult a move it was, they even gave us a 25% discount.Thank you so much guys - we really appreciated your patience, willingness and your generous consideration.

I highly recommend Ouch My Back. I hired them for an in town move recently. Gurjot is a wrapping expert, he also did very well at the game of Tetris at the end when the truck was almost full. Max and Gurjot handled the heavy wardrobe like pros. Casey kept things organised, and well, Stanley is just a powerhouse who I don't think stopped moving for more than 5 seconds. I will take some of the praise as well for labelling the boxes with colour coded labels for each room so they knew where to put things at the new place.I hope to not need their services again for a very long time, but I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I've moved multiple times all around the world and moving in Victoria can be more arduous than usual for some reason, but this moving company made our lives just a little easier. In fact they're probably the best moving company we've used in our 20 years of government relocations. They were extremely responsive, patient, well priced and efficient with their communication, processes, etc. We needed them short notice and only for 2 hours, but their office staff and movers were on their game... which if you know anything about moving, is hard to find lol. Their app and website worked perfectly, I really liked the user friendly interface and I also liked the human interaction I got by contacting one of their moving specialists. Anyways, highly recommend.

Hi I just had a piano moved and I just wanted to say that I thought the guys did a great job. The piano is really heavy so I felt bad for them. Despite it raining only once in months, the day of my move (!) the the 3 young movers were friendly, hard-working and took direction well. The office was easy also to deal with. Whole company has a small-town, run-by-actual-humans feel to it which is pretty rare nowadays. I recommend OMB, and I am pretty particular about my stuff !

We hired Ouch My Back Moving for our house move and we were very happy with the job they did. We had 4 guys and a fairly large truck. They arrived promptly in the morning and went to work right away getting our possessions out to the truck. They wrapped up our possessions that weren't in frogboxes with either plastic wrap or moving blankets to keep things protected. They took care to load the truck very carefully, like a tetris puzzle, so that the load could not shift during the trip. At the other end of the move, they unloaded our possessions carefully and took our boxes to their designated rooms. We had to store a lot of stuff in the garage and they were very helpful there too by arranging our boxes and possessions in a compact stack just like they packed the truck. It was a long day, but they worked hard, nothing was damaged, and we were really pleased with the end result. Highly recommended.

They even made a second trip to move more items than we had expected- it turned into a 9.5 hour day for the crew! They set up our beds in the new house which was a lifesaver.
